How to adjust the lubrication cycle of K47-29.32-1.5KW gear reducer according to operating conditions
The lubrication cycle of K47-29.32-1.5KW gear reducer needs to be dynamically adjusted according to the operating conditions. Under normal circumstances, the first oil change is after 500 hours of operation, and the normal cycle is between 2000-3000 hours or annually (whichever comes first); But in harsh working conditions, the cycle needs to be significantly shortened.
This model is a medium to low power, medium to low speed gear reducer, usually using a splash lubrication system. Its lubrication cycle is affected by various operating conditions. Specific adjustment suggestions are as follows:
1. Load and runtime correction

(1) If the operation is overloaded for a long time (with a load exceeding 110% of the rated value), the gear meshing pressure will increase, and the oxidation of lubricating oil will accelerate. It is recommended to shorten the oil change cycle by 30% to 50%.
(2) If the equipment runs continuously for 24 hours and the lubricating oil continues to work at high temperatures, the degradation rate will accelerate, and the regular cycle should be shortened to 1500-2000 hours.
(3) In case of intermittent operation (≤ 4 hours per day) and frequent startup and shutdown, oil foam is likely to be generated. It is recommended to shorten the cycle by about 20%.
2. Environmental temperature correction
(1) When the ambient temperature remains above 40 ℃ for a long time, for every 10 ℃ increase, the oxidation rate of lubricating oil doubles, and the oil change cycle should be shortened by 50%. It is recommended to replace it every 1000-1500 hours.
(2) When the temperature is below -10 ℃, the fluidity of the lubricating oil deteriorates and needs to be replaced with low-temperature gear oil, and the cycle should be shortened by 10% to 20%.
3. The installation method affects
If it is installed vertically or obliquely, the oil circulation efficiency of splash lubrication will be reduced, the gear will have uneven oil carrying, and local lubrication will be poor. It is recommended to shorten the oil change cycle by 20% to 30%.
4. Adverse environmental conditions
(1) In high temperature, high humidity, dusty or corrosive gas environments, lubricating oil is prone to emulsification and pollution. It is recommended to shorten the oil change cycle to 1000-2000 hours or 3-4 months.
(2) In heavy dust environments such as mines and cement plants, impurities are prone to enter the oil body and accelerate wear, so it is necessary to strengthen oil monitoring.
5. Priority principle for status monitoring
Even if the cycle has not yet arrived, if any of the following situations occur, the oil should be changed immediately:
(1) The oil color turns black, becomes turbid, or shows emulsification and whitening phenomenon;
(2) Has a burnt or sour taste;
(3) Metal powder, particles and other impurities can be seen in the oil;
(4) The oil temperature remains above 80 ℃ for a long time;
(5) Significant decrease in viscosity or failure of anti-wear performance.
