Selection Manual for X Series Cycloid Needle Wheel Reducer
The X series reducer is designed based on the principle of planetary transmission, and has the characteristics of small size, light weight, large reduction ratio, and high transmission efficiency. To assist you in accurately selecting, I have broken down the selection process into four core steps and provided a comparison table of model meanings.
Step 1: Understand the meaning of the model (naming convention)
Before consulting the manual, you need to "decipher" the model code on the existing equipment or drawings. The naming of the X series usually follows the following rules:

Step 2: Determine the core parameters
When selecting, you must clarify the following three key data, which are the basis for matching the gearbox:
1. Determine the reduction ratio (i)

Calculation formula: Reduction ratio (i)=Motor speed (rpm) ÷ Equipment required output speed (rpm)
Common speed ratio range:
Single level: 9~87 (commonly used: 9, 11, 17, 23, 29, 35, 43, 47, 59, 71, 87)
Double stage: 121~5133 (obtained by multiplying two single-stage speed ratios)
Level 3: up to tens of thousands (for extremely low-speed output)
Tip: If the calculated speed ratio is not the standard value, please select the closest standard speed ratio.
2. Determine the motor power (P)
Select the motor power based on the load size (such as 0.37KW, 0.75KW, 1.5KW, 2.2KW, 3KW, 4KW, 5.5KW, etc.).
Attention: If the device starts frequently or there is a load shock, it is recommended to reserve a safety factor and choose a high-power motor appropriately.
3. Determine the machine base number (specifications)
The machine base number of the X series is usually represented by numbers, and the larger the number, the larger the volume and load-bearing torque capacity.
Common specification sequences: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12.
Selection criteria: It is necessary to ensure that the rated output torque of the reducer is greater than the actual working torque of the equipment.
Step 3: Model and Specification Comparison Table
There may be slight differences in the labeling of machine base numbers by different manufacturers (such as the correspondence between X series and B series). The following is a general specification comparison reference:
Step 4: Quick selection checklist
Before placing the final order, please verify the following information:
Installation method: horizontal (W) or vertical (L)? Is it foot plate installation or flange installation
Input method: direct motor (D) or dual axis input (connected through pulley or coupling)
Output mode: Solid shaft output or hollow shaft output (some special models)
Usage environment: Is there high temperature, dust, or corrosion present? (Ordinary reducers are suitable for temperatures ranging from -10 ℃ to 40 ℃, and special treatment is required for special environments).
Lubrication inspection: After receiving the goods, check whether the oil level reaches the centerline of the oil mark. When installing vertically, the lubrication method may be different from that of horizontal installation, and special attention should be paid.
