1. Product Description Modular slip-ring motors of NMK series are developed for heavy load inertia working conditions. Slip-ring motors are a premium choice for scenarios requiring high starting torque and low starting current. They perform well for heavy inertia loads such as mill drives or sites with unstable power grids. NMK slip-ring motors reduce mechanical impact during startup and prolong service life of driven equipment. The motors maintain high torque across the full speed range and deliver reliable operation.

These slip-ring motors are commonly equipped for mills, crushers, fans and conveyors in mining, cement and metallurgy sectors. They also serve as dependable power units for water industry pumps, as well as pumps, compressors and mixers in non-hazardous areas of petrochemical plants.

NMK slip ring motors feature shaft heights ranging from 400 mm to 710 mm. IC611/IP55 and IC81W/IP55 are standard cooling and protection configurations with maximum rated power up to 10000 kW. The motor adopts welded steel frame. The slip ring assembly can be fitted with permanent contact brushes or brush lifting devices. The slip rings are enclosed inside a housing mounted at the non-drive end and separated from the main motor frame. Liquid resistance starter(LRS) is an optional accessory.

3. Enclosure and cooling IC611/IP55 and IC81W/IP55 are standard enclosure and cooling combinations for NMK motors. Other cooling systems like IC616 and IC86W can be customized.

IC611/IP55 This fully enclosed motor is equipped with an air-to-air heat exchanger. Shaft mounted fans are installed inside the motor frame, slip ring housing and outside casing to drive internal and external cooling circuits separately. The IP55 enclosure protects the motor against dust ingress and splashing water from all directions.

IC81W/IP55 This totally enclosed motor is fitted with air-to-water heat exchangers mounted on the main machine and slip ring unit housing. A shaft mounted fan inside the casing circulates air for the internal cooling circuit. The IP55 rating provides protection against dust and splashing water from any direction. The cooling system can be equipped with dedicated components mounted directly on the main motor rotor, or fan and pump assemblies mechanically driven by the motor rotor.

4. Packaging Export standard seaworthy packaging. Plywood case or fumigated wooden case for long-distance sea and land transportation.
5. Warranty Period Standard warranty is 12 months after commissioning or 18 months after delivery, whichever comes first. Extended warranty service is available upon your inquiry.
