Analysis of the structural aesthetics and technical barriers of SH basic three ring reducer with a single-stage speed ratio of up to 99

In industrial transmission design, how to achieve a larger transmission ratio and higher torque density in a limited space has always been a challenge for engineers to overcome. The SH basic type three ring reducer (such as SH350 and other models) provides a perfect solution with its unique few tooth difference planetary transmission characteristics. Today, we will break down its structural advantages from a technical perspective.

1、 Core structure: Wisdom with 120 degree phase difference

The SH basic type belongs to a parallel axis movable axis gear transmission reducer. The core technological barrier lies in the "three ring" design:

Dual high-speed shaft drive: Two high-speed shafts are parallel and symmetrical to the low-speed shaft, and this symmetrical structure naturally balances radial forces.

Three piece ring plate translation: The high-speed shaft drives the three piece transmission ring plate to move in a plane with a phase difference of 120 degrees. This design not only achieves power distribution, but also makes the transmission process extremely smooth.

Internal meshing: The inner circle of the transmission ring plate meshes with the outer circle of the low-speed shaft through teeth or needle pins. This low tooth difference meshing method is the key to achieving a single-stage high speed ratio (11-99).

2、 The 'dimensionality reduction blow' of performance data

Compared with traditional multi-stage cylindrical gear reducers, the technical parameters of SH basic type are highly competitive:

Dense gear ratio grading: providing 24 speed ratios ranging from 11, 13, 15, etc. to 99, with a step difference of about 1.1 times. This means that engineers can more accurately match the required speed of the equipment when selecting, without having to make do with it.

Super overload capacity: Due to the simultaneous meshing of multiple teeth (9-18 pairs), the contact stress distribution is extremely uniform. Actual test data shows that it can withstand 2.7 times the instantaneous overload, with a maximum output torque of 938KN · m, which is extremely rare among similar products.

Extremely low maintenance cost: The parallel axis structure makes assembly, disassembly, and maintenance exceptionally convenient. And due to the small number of vulnerable parts and the vibration amplitude during operation being less than 0.025mm, the overall service life of the equipment is significantly extended.

3、 Flexible assembly and derivation

Although the SH basic type is called "basic", it has extremely strong scalability. It adopts a flat split box body, which can not only be installed horizontally, but also made into vertical and flange connection structures according to needs. Its shaft end can transmit power separately or simultaneously, and even be equipped with non-standard transmission to drive control devices and achieve synchronous transmission of multiple motors.

In today's pursuit of efficient and precise transmission, the SH basic three ring reducer uses a hardcore structural design to interpret what true "small volume, large torque" means.
