What are the requirements for the installation environment of WPDKA60-60 worm gear reducer

1、 Temperature environment requirements

The temperature of the regular working environment should be controlled within the range of -10 ℃ to+40 ℃, avoiding high temperature heat sources such as furnaces and exhaust pipes.

When the ambient temperature exceeds 40 ℃, a cooling fan or cooling device should be installed to prevent the internal oil temperature from exceeding 80 ℃ and causing the lubricating oil to oxidize and fail.

When the ambient temperature is below 0 ℃, it is necessary to replace the synthetic lubricating oil with good low-temperature fluidity. If necessary, a preheating device should be installed to avoid dry friction damage to the mating surface during startup.

2、 Installation foundation requirements

The base should be made of C30 or above grade concrete with a thickness of ≥ 200mm, ensuring a bearing capacity of more than 3 times the equipment's own weight and total operating load.

The horizontal error of the installation surface should be ≤ 0.1mm/m, the surface roughness Ra should be ≤ 3.2 μ m, the contact area should be ≥ 75%, and the foot bolts should be subjected to shockproof fastening treatment.

Adequate space for operation and heat dissipation should be reserved at the installation location to avoid severe vibrations and impacts from surrounding equipment directly transmitted to the gearbox body.

3、 Requirements for dust-proof and anti fouling environment

The installation area should minimize suspended pollutants such as dust, metal shavings, and fibers to prevent foreign objects from entering the box and scratching the meshing surface of the worm gear.

In dusty working conditions, a configuration with a protection level of ≥ IP65 should be selected. The ventilation plug must be equipped with a dust filter cover, and the double lip skeleton oil seal at the shaft extension should be regularly inspected and replaced.

The surrounding environment should avoid hard particles such as gravel and iron filings directly splashing onto the surface of the reducer to prevent damage to the sealing structure and heat sink.

4、 Humidity and corrosion protection requirements

It is prohibited to install in areas that are directly soaked or soaked in water. The relative humidity of the regular environment should be controlled below 90% and there should be no condensation.

In humid or corrosive conditions with acid or alkali mist, the casing needs to be treated with anti-corrosion coating, and special worm gear oil with anti emulsification and anti rust properties should be selected as the lubricating oil.

Outdoor outdoor installation must be accompanied by a rainproof protective cover to prevent long-term water vapor infiltration, which can cause oil emulsification and metal component corrosion.
