Is there such a big difference in choosing winding machine reducers for different industries? Logistics, papermaking, and ceramic factories must not be used indiscriminately

Based on the actual working conditions of the three major industries of logistics, papermaking, and ceramics, the following are the core differences and precautions in the selection of winding machine reducers:

1. Logistics industry: high-frequency operation, focusing on efficiency and stability

Working condition characteristics: The pallet winding machine in the logistics and warehousing center is usually in a high-frequency, continuous operation state, mainly processing standardized pallet goods. The load is relatively stable, but it requires extremely high packaging efficiency and operational stability of the equipment.

Suggestions for selecting logistics industry models:

Transmission efficiency priority: It is recommended to choose planetary gearboxes or hard toothed gear gearboxes with high transmission efficiency (such as over 95%). This can not only reduce the energy consumption of long-term continuous operation, but also reduce heat generation.

Speed ratio and torque matching: Accurately calculate the required output torque based on motor power and turntable speed, and reserve a safety factor of 1.2-1.5 times to ensure that overload does not occur during frequent start stop situations.

Moderate accuracy is sufficient: Logistics packaging has relatively loose requirements for positioning accuracy, and a reducer with standard return clearance (such as ≤ 9 arc minutes) can be selected, without blindly pursuing high accuracy to save costs.

2. Paper industry: equal emphasis on heavy load and moisture-proof and anti-corrosion measures

Characteristics of working conditions: Paper mills usually use ring winding packaging machines or cylindrical axial winding machines to process heavy goods such as paper rolls and tapes. This type of equipment not only has a large load and strong inertia, but also often has high humidity in the workshop, and even contains water vapor and corrosive substances.

Suggestions for selection in the paper industry:

High protection level: It is necessary to choose a gearbox with good sealing and high protection level (recommended IP65 or above) to prevent water vapor and paper dust from entering the interior and causing gear wear or lubricant deterioration.

Material and anti-corrosion: For humid or corrosive environments, the gearbox housing needs to be made of stainless steel or treated with a special anti-corrosion coating.

Impact resistance and heavy load: The weight of the paper roll is large, and the impact torque during startup and braking is high. Therefore, a hard tooth gear reducer with high fatigue strength and impact resistance should be selected, and the safety factor should be increased to 1.5-2.0.

3. Ceramic industry: the test of dust environment and precise positioning

Characteristics of working conditions: The production environment of ceramic factories is often filled with a large amount of dust, and ceramic products (such as tiles, bathrooms, and large ceramic pipes) have certain requirements for the positioning accuracy and smooth operation of the turntable during packaging, in order to prevent the goods from being misaligned or tilted during the winding process.
