Common parts replacement tutorial for lathe reducer
1. Replace the sealing oil seal. Gearbox oil leakage is the most common problem, mostly caused by aging and wear of oil seals. Remove the end cover of the reducer, take out the old oil seal, clean the impurities in the installation groove, apply a small amount of lubricating oil, and install a new oil seal of the same model. When installing, pay attention to aligning the position to avoid displacement and further oil leakage.
2. Bearing replacement. The equipment produces abnormal noise and rotates with a lag, mostly due to bearing wear. Disassemble the casing and gear components, remove the old bearings, replace them with high-precision bearings of the same model, check the rotational flexibility after installation, and ensure there is no jamming or looseness.
3. Lubricating oil replacement. Stop the cooling equipment, unscrew the oil drain screw to drain the old oil, clean the iron debris and impurities in the oil pan, tighten the screw, and add special gear oil from the oil injection port to the standard scale to avoid excessive or insufficient oil.

4. Replace the fixing bolts and couplings. Long term vibration can cause bolt slippage, coupling wear, and transmission offset. Regularly check the status of accessories, replace aging accessories in a timely manner, tighten all connection points, and ensure the coaxiality of the transmission.
Kind reminder: For core precision components such as gears and spindles, it is not recommended to disassemble and replace them without maintenance experience to avoid accuracy deviation.
