What parts of the TDY75 electric roller may cause excessive noise
1、 Gear transmission components
The gear teeth of the reduction gear are worn, pitted, or chipped, or the meshing clearance exceeds the standard range of 0.15-0.3mm, resulting in periodic metal impact sound during operation.
Gear lubrication failure, deterioration of oil quality containing impurities, and continuous friction noise caused by direct dry friction on the tooth surface.
2、 Bearing components
The four supporting bearings (including two motor bearings) inside the drum are worn, the ball bearings are detached, and the cage is broken, resulting in rustling friction or rolling noise during operation.
Insufficient lubrication of bearings, dry lubricating grease, or tight assembly with a reserved clearance of less than 0.02mm, leading to a sudden increase in frictional resistance and noise.
3、 Motor components
Motor rotor dynamic balance failure, fan blade fracture and damage, and vibration noise generated during high-speed rotation.
The internal bearings of the motor are worn and the winding is partially faulty, accompanied by abnormal electromagnetic buzzing during operation.
4、 Drum body and installation components
The drum shaft has been overloaded and bent for a long time, resulting in deflection during rotation and causing periodic vibration and abnormal noise.
The bolts of the drum end cover and the fixing bolts of the bearing seat are loose, resulting in regular knocking sounds caused by structural resonance during operation.

The surface of the drum is locally concave and the weld seam is deformed, resulting in periodic contact noise when rotating to a specific position.
5、 External mating components
Excessive tension and deviation of the conveyor belt cause abnormal friction with the surface of the drum, resulting in a whistling sound.
Foreign objects such as coal chunks and metal debris get stuck between the drum and conveyor belt, producing a squeezing and impact sound during operation.
