How to achieve precise matching between ZSC hard tooth surface reducer and motor power

When selecting motors for ZSC gear reducers, it is recommended to follow the following core matching logic in order to minimize or reduce motor power:

1. Power matching formula: The rated power of the motor should meet the following requirements: motor power ≥ (load power x safety factor) ÷ reducer efficiency.

Note: ZSC is commonly used in impact load scenarios such as lifting, and the recommended safety factor is 1.2-1.5 or even higher.

2. Dual verification of torque:

(1) Output end: Ensure that (motor torque x reduction ratio x efficiency) is equal to or greater than the actual torque required by the load.

(2) Input end: Ensure that the output torque of the motor itself is ≤ the maximum torque limit that the ZSC gearbox input shaft can withstand, to prevent damage to the gearbox input end.

3. Pay attention to the starting characteristics: The equipment matched with ZSC reducer often has a large starting torque. It is necessary to confirm whether the motor supports heavy load starting to avoid insufficient torque or excessive current at the moment of starting.

Summary: Reasonable matching of motor power can not only protect ZSC reducers from physical damage and extend their service life, but also effectively reduce long-term power consumption and maintenance costs.
