AMI engineered modular induction motors deliver outstanding reliability and uptime for the most rigorous and demanding applications.

Built on the industry‑proven modular platform, AMI motors are custom‑tailored for individual customers and working scenarios. They satisfy diverse heavy‑duty requirements while retaining great flexibility for highly specialized configurations.

These modular induction motors conform to relevant international standards. Versions are available for both direct‑on‑line (DOL) and variable speed drive (VSD) operation.

Adopting welded steel frame construction, AMI motors offer standard cooling & protection combinations: IC01 / IP24W, IC611 / IP55, IC81W / IP55. Standard shaft heights range from 400 mm to 630 mm. Both horizontal and vertical mounting types are supported.

The catalogue provides 50 Hz technical data only; nevertheless, the motors can run at either 50 Hz or 60 Hz, with synchronous speeds from 500 rpm to 3600 rpm. Catalog‑listed output power reaches up to 8,000 kW, while the complete product portfolio can go as high as 23,000 kW.

Enclosure and Cooling

IC01 / IP24 Weather‑protected design with shaft‑driven internal cooling fan. Air‑inlet path is optimized with limited airflow velocity and multiple sharp direction changes to minimize ingress of rain, snow and airborne particles. Protects against splashing water from all directions.

IC611 / IP55 Fully‑enclosed structure equipped with air‑to‑air heat exchanger. Shaft‑mounted fans are arranged inside and outside the housing for internal and external cooling circuits. Dust‑proof and splash‑water resistant from all directions.

IC81W / IP55 Fully‑enclosed motor fitted with air‑to‑water heat exchanger. Internal shaft‑mounted fan serves the inner cooling circuit. Provides IP55 protection against dust and omnidirectional splashing water.

IC31 / IP55 Designed with inlet and outlet pipes for remote cooling air supply. Constructed without top cover for AMI motor frame. IP55 protection for dust and splashing water.

IC01 Features asymmetric internal air circulation.

Packaging

Export‑grade standard seaworthy packaging. Options: Plywood case or fumigated wooden case. Suitable for long‑distance sea and land transportation.

Warranty Period

Standard warranty: 12 months after commissioning or 18 months after delivery, whichever occurs earlier. Extended warranty service is available; please contact us for further information.
