The HXR 560 series is a rib-cooled high-voltage three-phase asynchronous motor with a rugged cast-iron frame. The standard configuration is a totally enclosed fan-cooled (TEFC) structure with IC411 cooling and IP55 protection. Optional IC416 cooling and IP66 protection are available. The motor is suitable for indoor or outdoor installation, with a rated power of up to 2,250 kW and a shaft height of 560 mm. It supports horizontal or vertical mounting and can operate at 50 Hz or 60 Hz, with a synchronous speed range of 500–3,600 rpm.

Enclosure and Cooling
IC411 / IP55
The motor uses an externally shaft-mounted fan to cool with ambient air. The standard protection rating is IP55, which prevents dust ingress from affecting normal motor operation and withstands water jets from any direction.
IC416 / IP55
IC416 cooling is available as an option. An independent motor drives the cooling fan, making it suitable for low-speed applications, especially when the motor is supplied by a variable frequency drive.
IP66 Protection Rating
The motor can be supplied with an IP66 protection rating. The enclosure is completely dust-tight and can withstand powerful water jets, making it suitable for harsh environmental conditions.
Packaging
Standard seaworthy export packaging is provided, with plywood cases or fumigated wooden cases available. The packaging is suitable for long-distance transportation by sea or land.
Warranty
The standard warranty period is 12 months after commissioning or 18 months after delivery, whichever occurs first. An extended warranty period can be arranged upon request.
