1. Product Overview

HXR 560 Series Rib Cooled High Voltage Asynchronous Motor HXR rib cooled motors adopt heavy-duty cast iron frame design. It is a totally enclosed fan cooled motor with IC411 cooling system and IP55 protection as standard configuration. IC416 cooling and IP66 protection are optional selections for special working scenarios.

HXR 560 series covers power output up to 2,250 kW with shaft height 560. This motor supports horizontal and vertical installation modes. The technical data listed in this catalog is based on 50Hz condition. The motor can run under both 50 Hz and 60 Hz power supply, synchronous speed ranges from 500 rpm to 3600 rpm.

2. Mounting Arrangements

• IM B3 (Code I: IM B3, Code II: IM 1001) Standard floor installation, feet downward for horizontal foot mounted application.
• IM V1 (Code I: IM V1, Code II: IM 3011) Flange mounted type, flange and free shaft end downward, vertical solid shaft structure.

3. Enclosure and Cooling

Standard Combination: IC411 / IP55

HXR motor is equipped with external shaft-mounted fan, which utilizes ambient air for heat dissipation. The motor can resist dust ingress and water jet impact.

Optional Combination: IC416 / IP55

IC416 cooling system is optional. An independent auxiliary fan motor provides cooling airflow. This design is suitable for low speed operation, especially for variable frequency drive working conditions.

Protection Grade Introduction

IP55

• Dust protection: Limited dust can enter the enclosure, but the dust volume will not affect normal motor operation.
• Water protection: No damage to the motor when water jets hit the unit from any direction.

IP66

• Dust protection: Fully dust tight enclosure.
• Water protection: Resist powerful water jets from any direction via 12.5mm nozzle without harmful impact.

IC411 Cooling Principle

• Frame surface cooling: Internal coolant circulates in closed loop. Heat transfers through stator core and frame rib surface to surrounding ambient medium. Ribbed frame enhances heat exchange efficiency.
• Self-circulation cooling: Cooling air flow is driven by main motor rotation. Power comes from rotor-mounted fan or mechanical driving parts connected to motor rotor.

4. Packaging

Export standard seaworthy packing. Plywood case or fumigated wooden case. Suitable for long-distance sea and land transportation.

5. Warranty Period
