Product Description

GOST 4AZM, also known as the YKS series high voltage three-phase induction motor, is a product independently developed and introduced by our company back in the 1980s, with more than 30 years of development history. With continuous upgrades of insulation materials, low-loss silicon steel sheets, improved protection grades and optimized electromagnetic design in recent years, the motor loss has been effectively reduced and power density boosted. Combining our 60 years of experience in high voltage induction motor design and manufacturing, we have completed the latest round of optimization to satisfy domestic and global market requirements.

Test results verify that this motor series reaches or approaches the world advanced level in both technical and economic performance. Mass production has been realized, and products are widely supplied across China and exported to over 20 countries and regions covering Europe, America, Africa and more, winning consistent recognition from end users.

Manufactured with premium raw materials and mature production processes, this series features high efficiency, energy saving, low vibration, stable operation and easy installation & maintenance.

Its power ratings, electrical characteristics, mounting dimensions and tolerances comply with GB755, IEC 60034-1 and relevant machinery industry standards.

A wide selection of enclosure protection classes is available including IP23, IP44, IP54, IP55 and IP56, following GB4942.1 and IEC 60034-5. IP23 motors can be converted to IP44 (pipe ventilation type) or IPW24 (climate protected type). Custom protection grades are available upon request.

Three standard cooling options are offered: IC01, IC611 and IC81W, complying with GB/T1993 and IEC 60034-6. Other cooling schemes can be customized as required.

The standard construction and mounting form is IMB3 (horizontal foot-mounted), conforming to GB997 and IEC 60034-7.

Based on rotor type, protection grade and cooling mode, the product family covers 8 sub-series. The technical data and installation dimensions of 10kV models can be adapted for 3kV, 10.5kV and 11kV variants.

Application

This high voltage motor is designed to drive general machinery such as compressors, fans, water pumps, unloaders and conveying equipment. It serves as the prime mover for mines, machinery plants, petrochemical facilities, power plants and other industrial sites.

For heavy inertia loads including blowers, coal mills, rolling mills, crushers and belt conveyors, customers need to provide complete technical data and sign a technical agreement for customized design to guarantee reliable operation.

Construction Description

Y and YR are the base series with IP23 protection and IC01 cooling. Multiple derivative models are developed from them: YKS (water-air cooled), YQF (climate protected), YKK (air-air cooled), YRKS, YRQF and YRKK.

The motor adopts the popular box-type structure. Frame and end shields are steel plate welded, featuring high rigidity and light weight. After removing the guard or cooler, internal inspection and access are straightforward for convenient maintenance.

The stator adopts external pressing structure. Stator windings use Class F insulation and anti-corona materials, with reliable special binding for terminal fixing. The whole stator undergoes VPI vacuum pressure impregnation with solventless Class F varnish, delivering outstanding insulation, moisture resistance and impulse withstand performance.

Most squirrel cage rotors are die-cast aluminum type with proven high reliability without breakage risk. Copper bar squirrel cage rotors apply advanced welding technology and slot fastening treatment. Wound rotors adopt Class F insulation and VPI treatment as well.

Two bearing configurations are available: rolling bearing and sleeve bearing, selected according to motor power, speed and protection grade. Higher protection grades come with matched upgraded bearing sealing.

Rolling bearing versions are fitted with on-line grease filling and draining fittings to support lubrication service without shutdown.

The main terminal box is sealed with IP54 rating. It is normally fitted on the right side (viewed from shaft extension end), and can be switched to the left side per request. Cable entry direction can be adjusted to top, bottom, left or right. Separate grounding terminals are integrated inside the box.

All measuring instruments are calibrated annually. Strict inspection is implemented through every production stage.

Test Items

Every motor is fully tested before delivery, and a formal test report will be supplied for each unit.

• Routine test: Winding DC resistance, insulation resistance, high voltage withstand test, no-load current, no-load power & loss, three-phase current unbalance, locked rotor current & torque, maximum torque, rotation direction, vibration (horizontal/vertical/axial), noise
• Type test: Full load input power, full load current, stator loss, rotor loss, iron loss, mechanical loss, stray loss, slip, winding temperature rise, bearing temperature, insulation resistance after heat run, overload test, power factor, efficiency

After Sales Service

Standard warranty: 12 months after commissioning OR 18 months after shipment, whichever comes first. Extended warranty plan is available upon inquiry.
