Product Core Description (English)
AMI engineered modular induction motors are designed for high reliability and availability in the toughest, most demanding industrial applications. Built on the motor industry’s most successful modular platform, they can be tailor-made to meet customized requirements for each customer and application, balancing wide compatibility with flexible, highly specific configuration options.
All AMI motors comply with relevant international standards, and support both direct-on-line (DOL) and variable speed drive (VSD) operation. They feature a welded steel frame, with standard cooling and protection combinations including IC01/IP24W, IC611/IP55 and IC81W/IP55. The standard shaft height ranges from 400mm to 630mm, with both horizontal and vertical mounting options available.
This catalog focuses on 50Hz technical data, while the motors can operate at both 50Hz and 60Hz, with synchronous speeds ranging from 500rpm to 3600rpm. The power range covered in this catalog goes up to 8,000kW, while the complete AMI portfolio extends to 23,000kW.

IC01 / IP24: Weather-protected design with a shaft-mounted cooling fan inside the housing. The air intake path is designed with 3+ acute direction changes (over 90°) and average air velocity ≤3m/s, reducing ingress of rain, snow and airborne particles; protected against splashing water from all directions.

IC611 / IP55: Fully enclosed design with an air-to-air heat exchanger. Shaft-mounted fans are installed inside and outside the casing to drive internal and external cooling circuits respectively; protected against dust and splashing water from all directions.

IC81W / IP55: Fully enclosed design fitted with an air-to-water heat exchanger, with a shaft-mounted fan inside the casing for the internal cooling circuit; protected against dust and splashing water from all directions.
