AMI series are engineered modular induction motors featuring high reliability and operational availability, designed for harsh and demanding working conditions.
Custom‑built to satisfy individual customer and application requirements, the AMI motor adopts a proven mature modular platform. It fulfills diverse demanding operating conditions and supports highly‑specialized customized configurations.
Complying with relevant international standards, AMI motors support both direct‑on‑line (DOL) startup and variable speed drive (VSD) operation.
The motor housing is constructed with welded steel structure. Standard combinations of cooling system and protection grade include IC01 / IP24W, IC611 / IP55 and IC81W / IP55, with standard shaft height ranging from 400 mm to 630 mm. Both horizontal and vertical mounting modes are available.
This catalogue lists technical parameters under 50 Hz condition only. Nevertheless, the motors can run at either 50 Hz or 60 Hz, with synchronous speed ranging from 500 rpm to 3600 rpm.
The power scope covered in this catalogue reaches up to 8,000 kW, while the full product portfolio can achieve maximum output power of 23,000 kW.
