️ Enclosure and Cooling Options

The AMI series offers multiple cooling and protection configurations to suit diverse operating environments:

IC01 / IP24 — Weather-protected motor with a shaft-mounted cooling fan inside the housing. The air intake path is designed with three acute direction changes exceeding 90° and an average velocity not exceeding 3 m/s, reducing the ingress of rain, snow, and airborne particles. Protected against splashing water from any direction.
IC611 / IP55 — Fully enclosed design with an air-to-air heat exchanger mounted on the motor. Shaft-mounted fans are fitted both inside and outside the casing for independent cooling circuits. Protected against dust and splashing water from any direction.
IC81W / IP55 — Fully enclosed motor fitted with an air-to-water heat exchanger. A shaft-mounted fan supplies the internal cooling circuit. Protected against dust and splashing water from any direction.
IC31 / IP55 — Fitted with inlet and outlet pipes for remote cooling air. Essentially the AMI motor frame without an upper cover. Protected against dust and splashing water from any direction.
IC01 (Asymmetric) — Features asymmetric inside air circulation for specialized cooling requirements.
