The AMI series offers versatile cooling solutions to suit different environmental conditions:

IC01 / IP24 (Weather Protected)

This motor features a shaft-mounted cooling fan inside the housing. The design reduces the ingress of rain, snow, and airborne particles into electrical parts.

Air Intake: Average velocity does not exceed 3 m/s, allowing heavier particles to settle.
Path Design: Includes three acute direction changes (>90 degrees) to optimize flow rate.
Protection: Protected against splashing water from any direction.

IC611 / IP55 (Air-to-Air Heat Exchanger)

A fully enclosed design fitted with an air-to-air heat exchanger mounted on the motor.

Cooling: Shaft-mounted fans are fitted both inside and outside the casing to supply respective cooling circuits.
Protection: Protected against dust and splashing water from any direction.

IC81W / IP55 (Air-to-Water Heat Exchanger)

A fully enclosed motor fitted with an air-to-water heat exchanger.

Cooling: A shaft-mounted fan is fitted inside the casing to supply the internal cooling circuit.
Protection: Protected against dust and splashing water from any direction.

IC31 / IP55 (Remote Cooling Air)

This version is fitted with inlet and outlet pipes to utilize remote cooling air.

Mounting Arrangements

Standard mounting arrangements for AMI motors include:

IM B3 (Code II: IM 1001): Horizontal foot-mounted.
IM V1 (Code II: IM 4011): Vertical flange-mounted (free shaft end facing downwards).
