AMI Modular Induction Motors Deliver high reliability and outstanding availability for the harshest and most demanding industrial operating conditions.
Built on a proven modular platform, AMI modular induction motors can be custom‑engineered to satisfy individual customer and application requirements. They support a wide spectrum of demanding working scenarios, meanwhile offering high flexibility for highly‑specialized configuration adaptation.
These modular motors comply with relevant international standards, supporting both direct‑on‑line (DOL) and variable speed drive (VSD) operation modes.
AMI motors adopt welded steel frames. Standard available cooling & protection combinations include IC01 / IP24W, IC611 / IP55 and IC81W / IP55, with standard shaft height ranging from 400 mm to 630 mm. Both horizontal and vertical mounting options are supported.
Technical data shown in this catalogue is based on 50 Hz operation; nevertheless, the motors are compatible with 50 Hz / 60 Hz power supply, delivering synchronous speeds between 500 rpm and 3600 rpm. The catalogue covers output power up to 8,000 kW, while the full product portfolio can reach 23,000 kW.

Weather‑protected design equipped with shaft‑driven internal cooling fan. The structural design minimizes ingress of rain, snow and airborne particles into electrical components. Air intake is designed to keep average airflow velocity below 3 m/s so that heavy particles can settle down. The air passage features three sharp turns over 90°, optimizing airflow rate. The motor resists water splashes from all directions.
Totally‑enclosed structure fitted with an air‑to‑air heat exchanger. Shaft‑driven fans are installed inside and outside the enclosure to serve internal and external cooling circuits separately. Provides protection against dust and multi‑directional water splashes.
Fully‑enclosed motor equipped with air‑to‑water heat exchanger. An internal shaft‑driven fan circulates air for the inner cooling loop. Dust‑proof and splash‑proof against water from all directions.
Equipped with inlet and outlet pipes for remote cooling air supply. It is essentially the AMI motor frame without top cover. Protected against dust and omnidirectional water splashes.
