Product Description

1. Overview The AXR series represents the latest generation of multipurpose rib cooled motors, engineered for high power density, easy configurability and built-in serviceability. Building on years of electric motor manufacturing expertise, AXR motors deliver more watts per kilogram than any previous rib cooled design — setting a new industry benchmark.

Their high power density often allows a motor one frame size smaller than conventional products for the same output, saving space and enabling more compact installations.

2. Compliance & Construction AXR motors comply with leading industry standards including API 541 and Shell DEP, and can be tailored to customer specifications. The rugged cast iron frame provides outstanding mechanical strength and durability.

3. Enclosure & Cooling

IC411 / IP55 (standard): externally shaft-mounted fan cooling using ambient air; protected against dust ingress and water jets.
IC416 / IP55 (optional): separate motor-driven fan, ideal for low-speed and variable-speed drive (VSD) applications.
IP66 (optional): fully dust-tight enclosure, verified by a leading independent testing organization.
